How should I prepare for my curly cut?

We want everyone to have the most comfortable experience in my chair, and get the best results. It is an absolute requirement for your hair to be clean, down, dry and fully detangled. No ponytails, braids, clips or buns so your curls aren’t altered. We cut the  hair dry in its natural state, and need to see the true pattern of your curls. If you have been experiencing tough tangles, I recommend you detangle meticulously in small two-inch sections. If you do not follow these requirements— you will be charged a detangling fee, and we will not be able to fully complete the service.

What can I expect from my curly cut appointment?

Every appointment starts with a consultation to discuss lifestyle, short and long-term goals for your curls. After your custom dry-cut, I will wash your hair and provide an informative styling & drying session where I’ll share product recommendations, tips and techniques for maintaining your curls. To make sure you don’t miss any important information, I kindly ask that you bring something to take notes or use your phone to write down key points. This will also serve as a helpful reference for you in the future.

Parking

Street parking and parking meters with the pay to park app.  If you park at a meter, we encourage you to download the pay to park app and take a picture of your parking meter number so that you can pay from your phone, especially if you appointment is longer than two hours.  We do not have designated parking so please allow a little extra time to find a spot.

Running Late

We understand that life does not always run on time but we ask that if you are going to be 5-10 minutes late, please give us a call.  If you are running 15-minutes or later behind, we will need to reschedule your appointment and a fee will be charged.  Our stylists are scheduled to allow enough time for each client to receive the best service.

Client Cut/Color Form

When scheduling an appointment with our team, we send a client form for you to complete.  This allows you to send us photos of your current hair and any hair inspo that you would like to share with your stylist.  Please complete this form when you receive it as it will ensure the proper time and service is scheduled.

Our Guarantee

 

All of our stylists guarantee their work and want each and every client to leave loving their service. If for any reason we have fallen short of your expectations or you have any concerns about the service you received, please contact us within three business days. Your service provider will work with your particular concerns and will exhaust every avenue to solve the situation. In the event you were uncomfortable with discussing the situation with the stylist, please contact the salon manager directly. We do not offer refunds, but we will strive to rectify the situation and again please let us know within three business days of any concerns.

 

Cancellation Policy

 

Our stylists are paid on commission and rely on keeping their schedule full. Out of respect for our stylists time, our cancellation/no-show policy is as follows:

 

    • No charge for any appointment cancelled or rescheduled 48 hours prior to a scheduled appointment.

 

    • We will charge 50% of the service booked as a cancellation fee for any appointment cancelled or rescheduled less than 48 hours prior to a scheduled appointment.

 

    • We will charge 100% of the service booked as a cancellation fee for any appointment cancelled or rescheduled less than 24 hours prior to scheduled appointment.

 

    • If you no-show an appointment, your credit card will be charged 100% of the service booked
